Client: Field to Market, The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture

Field to Market is a non-profit trade alliance that champions sustainable agriculture across the supply chains for food, fiber and fuel. Their goal: enroll 20% of productive acres of U.S. commodity crops in their program by 2020. To meet that goal and live out their vision, a new website with a suite of improved functions was a must-have for attracting and engaging new alliance members.

Position Field to Market as the leading sustainable agriculture initiative in the U.S. by creating a modern new website that helps them meet their goal and live out their vision.

Shelton Strategy

We mapped, designed and developed a modern new website and private member portal that allow Field to Market to effectively create opportunities across diverse industries and stakeholder groups for collaboration, cross-pollination and continuous improvement.

The design was tailored to bring a fresh, approachable feel to the organization, with custom watercolor pieces used throughout. The site is 100% mobile responsive and built in WordPress. It includes multiple interactive avenues for interested parties to explore the organization’s activities and resources, while the private member portal allows for thoughtful collaboration.

Susannah has nearly two decades of market research and strategy experience, including her role as president of SE Consulting, where she led the services for the likes of DIY Network and the makers of GORE-TEX®.

Laila Waggoner

Laila leads our client engagement process, overseeing activities from both a strategic and a tactical level to ensure our work generates desired results – and clients’ satisfaction. She brings 25+ years of marketing leadership experience to her client relationships, with particular expertise in the homebuilding and remodeling industries as well as member-driven organizations, such as the Vinyl Siding Institute and Plastics Pipe Institute. Before joining Shelton Group, she led strategic marketing teams for Owens Corning’s insulation business.

Matt Brass

VP Creative

Matt steers the creative department in concepting, designing and producing campaigns. He ensures sound strategy and deep insights inform everything his team develops, and works closely with the accounts department to ensure copy and designs will meet our clients’ goals. As a designer and filmmaker himself, he’s also a principal contributor to all of Shelton’s in-house photography and videography work.
